Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Parrack Insurance Agency LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information through the pages of piawv.com that begin with piawv.com/elkins, and in our insurance business.

Some pages, such as the homepage and the blog, are shared with Jon W. Parrack II Inc. (doing business as Jon Parrack Insurance). The two agencies are separately owned and do not share your information with each other.

Information you give us when you request a quote, apply for coverage, or contact us, which may include:

• Name, address, phone number, and email address
• Date of birth, and driver’s license numbers and driving history
• Vehicle information, such as year, make, model, and VIN
• Property and business information, such as construction details, values, and operations
• Claims history and current or prior insurance
• For applications that require them, Social Security numbers, health information for life or health coverage, and employment or income details

Please do not enter Social Security numbers, bank or card numbers, or medical details in a website form, email, or text. When an application needs them, we collect them by phone, in person, or through the insurance company’s secure system.

Information we receive from others, which may include:

• The insurance companies we represent, and your prior insurance companies
• Consumer reporting agencies, such as motor vehicle records, claims history reports (for example, CLUE), and credit-based insurance scores
• Public records

Information collected automatically when you visit the Site: our hosting provider records standard server information such as your IP address, browser, and the pages requested, and our analytics count page visits anonymously (see Website Tools and Cookies below).

When you request a quote or apply, we or the insurance companies may obtain your motor vehicle record, your claims history, and a credit-based insurance score, and insurance companies may share that information with us. You may ask which reports were used, and you have the right to dispute inaccurate information with the agency that produced the report.

• To quote, apply for, issue, and service your insurance
• To help you with claims and questions
• To contact you about your request or your policies
• To prevent fraud and meet legal and regulatory requirements
• To understand which pages of the Site are useful, so we can improve it

We do not use your information to send you marketing texts.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to serve you, or as the law requires or allows:

• With the insurance companies we represent, to quote, issue, and service your policies and handle claims
• With service providers who help us run the agency, such as our form provider (Zoho), our website host (Vercel), and our agency management and insurance rating software, who may use it only to provide those services
• With insurance regulators, courts, and law enforcement when required by law, and to prevent fraud
• With a successor business if the agency is sold or merged, under this same policy

We do not share your information with other companies for their own marketing.

Insurance agencies must give customers a privacy notice describing the nonpublic personal information they collect and share. That notice is provided when you become a customer and as the law requires afterward. Because we share your information only as described above, and never with other companies for their own marketing, there is nothing you need to opt out of.

• We do not record phone calls.
• We text only to reply when you text us first, about your quote or policy. We never send marketing texts. Message and data rates may apply. Tell us to stop texting and we will.
• If you ask us to contact you, we will call, text, or email you about that request.
• Email and text are not secure methods for sensitive information. Please do not send Social Security numbers, bank or card numbers, or medical details that way.

Our own website does not set cookies. Some outside tools on the Site may, as described here:

• Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights measure page visits and loading speed without cookies and without tracking you across other websites. We also count when a phone number, an email address or a quote button is tapped, along with the page it was on and, on our team cards, which team member it was for. None of this identifies you.
• Quote and contact forms are provided by Zoho. A form loads from Zoho's servers when you open it, Zoho may set its own cookies and use a security check to block spam, and what you submit is sent to our office through Zoho.
• Our life insurance quote tool is provided by Strife (quoteandapply.io) and loads only after you agree to its notice. What you enter there is handled under Strife's and our policies.
• Some business insurance pages link to NEXT Insurance, where you can get a quote on NEXT's own website under NEXT's privacy policy. The link identifies our agency so the quote is credited to us.
• Embedded YouTube videos use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which does not set YouTube cookies until you play a video. After you press play, YouTube's privacy policy applies.

Because the Site does not track you across other websites, it does not respond differently to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals.

We limit access to your information to people who need it to serve you, and we use physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards. The Site and its forms use encrypted (HTTPS) connections.

No method of sending or storing information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach involves your personal information, we will notify you as required by West Virginia and Ohio law.

We keep insurance records, including quote requests, for as long as we need them to service policies, respond to claims and questions, and meet legal obligations. We do not have a scheduled destruction date, so records may be kept indefinitely.

• You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.
• You may ask us to delete information. We will do so when we can, but we may be required to keep insurance records.
• You may tell us to stop texting or calling you about a request at any time.

The Site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children through it. Information about minors on a family policy, such as a teen driver, is collected from a parent or guardian.
