A bond is paid for when it is issued, so there is no ongoing bill to log in and pay. Renewal notices come from the surety company that wrote the bond, or from our office.
Claims
A claim against a bond goes to the surety company named on the bond, not to BondExchange. Send us the notice and we will identify the surety and walk it through with you.
About BondExchange
BondExchange is not an insurance company. It is a surety bond wholesaler based in Charlotte, North Carolina, licensed in all fifty states and working only through independent agents. It gives us access to more than thirty surety markets from one place, including the contract and SBA bonds that are harder to get written.
The bond itself is issued by whichever surety company underwrites it. Their name, not the BondExchange name, is what appears on the bond you sign and file.

BondExchange is a second door for surety, and between it and our other bond market we can usually find a company for a license, permit, contract, court, or fidelity bond. It is the one we lean on for contract bonds and for risks another surety has already turned down. Either way, we quote across everyone we write with before recommending anything.
