Doesn't my landlord's insurance cover my stuff?
No. Your landlord's policy covers the building. Your furniture, clothes, TV and everything else you own are on you, and so is the bill if someone gets hurt in your apartment. A renters policy covers both.
How much does renters insurance cost?
