Liberty Mutual was founded in Boston in 1912 and is one of the largest property and casualty insurers in the world, with an A (Excellent) rating from AM Best. Policies sold through independent agents like us were written under the Safeco name from 2008 until April 2026, when Liberty Mutual retired the Safeco brand. If you had a Safeco policy, it is now a Liberty Mutual policy with the same coverage, the same premium, and the same agent.

The Liberty Mutual policies we write are the independent-agent versions. They are priced and serviced separately from the ones sold on TV or by calling the company directly, and we stay your point of contact for all of them.
