Pay Your Bill
Claims
You pay the veterinarian in full at the visit, then submit the paid, itemized invoice for reimbursement. Fetch also needs your pet’s medical records from any visit in the twelve months before the policy started.
Fetch does not publish a claims-only or billing-only phone number, so we do not list one here. Call our office and we will get you to the right place.
About Fetch
Fetch covers dogs and cats for accidents and illnesses, and the policy is one of the more complete ones in the category. Exam fees, dental disease on every tooth, hereditary and congenital conditions, behavioral therapy, and treatments like acupuncture and hydrotherapy are part of the plan rather than add-ons you buy separately.
Fetch started in 2003 as the United States arm of Petplan and took the Fetch name in 2022. Policies are administered by Fetch Insurance Services, LLC and underwritten by AXIS Insurance Company. Pet coverage works on reimbursement: you pay your veterinarian at the visit, then Fetch pays you back for covered care, usually inside of ten days.
Where Fetch tends to fit
Fetch tends to fit dog and cat owners who want the whole vet bill handled rather than a bare accident-only plan: a young pet enrolled before anything develops, or a breed prone to hereditary problems. Pre-existing conditions are excluded, so enrolling early matters. If your situation is more complicated, we represent companies that specialize in it.
