About Great American
Great American has been writing insurance since 1872 and is one of the older names still in the business. It runs out of Cincinnati as a group of more than thirty specialty companies, and most of what it does is niche commercial work: agriculture, ocean marine, equine, trucking, public entity, and a long list of others.
The piece we write with them is the small business owners policy. SafePak puts property and general liability on one policy and includes the coverages a small operation actually reaches for, including business income and extra expense, accounts receivable, backup of sewer and drain, loss from a refrigeration failure, and newly acquired or constructed buildings.
