Have a question or a claim? Call us first.

If Jon Parrack Insurance is your agent, call us at 304-675-4132 before you call the company. We know your policy, we know the adjusters, and we will walk it through with you. The links and numbers below are for after hours, or for when you just want to pay a bill. If your Hagerty policy is with another agent, the links below will get you to the right place.

Pay Your Bill

Keep the insured value current. Collector values move, and a car insured at what it was worth several years ago pays out at that number after a total loss. Tell us when you have work done or when the market on your car runs away from the policy.

Hagerty answers billing on its general auto service line, so we do not list a number here. Call our office and we will handle it.

Claims

Do not let anyone start repairs, or tow the car to a general body shop, before the claim is opened. Hagerty pays to have collector work done properly, and a well-meant quick fix can cost you the difference.

Photograph the car from every angle before it is moved, if it is safe to do so.

About Hagerty

Hagerty started in 1984 insuring wooden boats out of a basement in Traverse City and wrote its first classic car policy in 1991. Collector vehicles are the whole business, and the difference shows up in the parts of a policy that matter when something happens: every adjuster has hands-on restoration experience, there are in-house parts specialists whose job is finding the piece your car needs, and you pick how and where the car is repaired. They will even pay you to do the work yourself.

The policy is built for a car that is not a daily driver. Guaranteed Value® means you and Hagerty agree on the number up front and a covered total loss pays that number, not a depreciated one. Usage is flexible rather than a mileage cage, so shows, drives, and club events are covered. Every policy includes thirty days of coverage up to $50,000 on a car you just bought, $750 for spare parts, and up to $10,000 in medical payments if someone is hurt at a show. Policies are issued by Essentia Insurance Company, which is owned by Markel and writes for Hagerty only.

Where Hagerty tends to fit

Hagerty tends to fit an owner whose car is not transportation: a restored or original collector car, a modified or motorsport build, a vintage truck, tractor, camper, or wooden boat, or a whole collection. If your situation is more complicated, we represent companies that specialize in it. Either way, we quote across everyone we write with before recommending anything.
